Billing and Refund
Last updated: July 11, 2026
ExpectancyIQ is billed as an annual subscription with no free trial. This policy explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work.
1. How Billing Works
Your subscription is billed annually and processed securely through Stripe — we never see or store your full card number. Standard pricing is $144/year; eligible new subscribers may be offered an early-access price of $115.20/year for their first year. There's no monthly plan and no free trial: access starts immediately at signup.
2. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing by selecting "Manage subscription," which opens Stripe's secure billing portal — cancel there with one click, no need to contact us. Cancelling stops future renewals — you'll keep access through the end of the period you already paid for, and your account won't be charged again after that.
3. Refunds
Because pricing is annual and disclosed up front, subscription fees are non-refundable once payment is processed — including if you decide to stop using the Service partway through your term. This applies to both the standard and early-access annual prices. The one exception: if you were charged in error or charged twice for the same subscription period, contact us and we'll review it.
4. Price Changes at Renewal
If you were offered an early-access annual price, that price applies to your first year only. Your subscription renews at the then-current standard annual price unless you cancel before renewal — this scheduled step-up is disclosed at signup, so no separate notice is sent for it. Outside of that scheduled step-up, we will not silently raise the standard annual price mid-term: any future change to the standard price comes with reasonable advance notice by email before it applies to your next renewal, giving you the chance to cancel first if you don't want it.
